In Indiana, Medicaid provides health coverage for low-income individuals and families, including children, pregnant individuals, parents, adults, people who are blind or have disabilities, and older adults.
Eligibility is primarily based on income relative to the Federal Poverty Level (FPL). For example, adults under age 65 can qualify through the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP 2.0) if their household income is at or below 138% of the FPL, while pregnant women and infants may be eligible at higher levels (up to around 208% of FPL)
